Orthodontic Rubber Bands
The experience my kids had with their orthodontic bands was, for the most part, relatively easy. Actually, the bands were tooth savers in one particular instance orthodontic rubber bands.
When he was about fourteen years old, my older boy was in full orthodontic bands and just happened one day to run into a fist (naturally, through no fault of his own).

By virtue of these well-placed knuckles, his two upper front teeth were pushed up rds and backwards at least a good half inch. Had it not be for t banding, the teeth would have been completely knock out orthodontic rubber bands.
One of my close friends was an orthodontist so I immediately took my son to his office (didn’t even have an appointment). We gave my son a local anesthetic to minimize the discomfort. We then repositioned the teeth (forcefully pushed them back into place) and re-banded them. This was about fifteen years ago orthodontic rubber bands. The teeth are still there, in good alignment, and are quite solid. My other son’s karate lessons bother me though orthodontic rubber bands.
